Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Edit and proofread news articles for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to Tunnel Vision Network\'s style guidelines.
Collaborate with reporters and contributors to brainstorm and develop story ideas and angles.
Conduct thorough research to verify facts and gather additional information for news pieces.
Assist in managing the editorial calendar and coordinating the publication schedule.
Monitor current events and trends to identify relevant news stories and topics for coverage.
Participate in editorial meetings, providing input and feedback to enhance content quality.
Support the team in upholding high journalistic standards and ethical practices.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.

Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

Familiarity with digital media, social media platforms, and content management systems.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

A genuine passion for news and storytelling, along with a desire to learn about the editorial process.
