Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Chemical Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and optimize departmental operations while driving technical excellence within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to ensure the successful startup and sustained performance of new process units. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost for a new process startup.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Process Safety Leadership : Apply advanced technical expertise and analytical skills to implement and uphold Process Safety Management (PSM) standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Process Optimization : Lead comprehensive troubleshooting efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Innovative Problem Solving : Develop and propose creative solutions to address complex manufacturing challenges, leveraging technical knowledge and cross-functional collaboration to navigate interdependent production cycles.
- Mentorship and Team Development : Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues, fostering skill development, facilitating consensus, and guiding team members toward shared goals.
- Change Management : Oversee and facilitate effective management of changes driven by unit requirements, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Technical Training : Lead or support the delivery of technical training programs for operators, enhancing their understanding and proficiency in process operations.
- Process Improvement Initiatives : Identify and initiate projects aimed at improving process performance, reliability, and efficiency, while driving measurable results.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years chemical engineering experience)Minimum of 3 years Chemical Engineering experienceDesired Characteristics
