Security Officer

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic transportation location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will play a key part in maintaining a secure environment while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or passengers, providing assistance as needed.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
