About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Must have experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.). ICU experience with adult populations required. Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years.

License : Must have a nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.

Certifications : BLS and ACLS must be certified through the American Heart Association only.

Must-Have : Telemetry experience required. Basic Arrhythmia experience required.

Description :

Evening / Night 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation and some holidays.

Experience in an academic level 1 trauma center is required.

Traveler must have completed a successful travel assignment.

Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to clearance to start.

Must be willing to work with IMC / Progressive / General care populations as needed.

Appreciate the autonomy and flexibility of working in a variety of critical care settings.

Supports and engages in shared governance.

Travelers may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on current staffing needs.

If the primary unit no longer has need, shifts will be re-assigned.

Successful candidates will enjoy growing their career in an academic learning environment.

Pass / Fail testing is required with strict passing criteria for telemetry exam.

Travelers will need to have an active telemetry competency on file.

No references will be accepted.

Travelers should follow the schedule listed in their welcome letter and department schedule.
