About the Job.

JPI has an exciting opportunity for a Trades Intern to join our Central Trades team located in Dallas, TX.

The Trades Field Intern will participate in a program where they will learn from and assist the Superintendent(s) and other field team members in managing a project.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Field

Observe how to manage a project.

Update and monitor construction documents with changes through Procore.

Help create and monitor Procore documentation such as RFI's, submittals, daily reports and punch lists.

Take project photos, upload daily and label accordingly on Procore.

Monitor jobsite work practices in accordance with OSHA, JPI Illness and Injury Prevention Program, and JPI Construction Policies and Procedures Manual.

Other duties may be assigned by Lead Superintendent

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or pursuing a bachelor's program in construction management or related field.
  • This is an entry-level position, but prior coursework or internships that built an understanding of construction management or project management is preferred.
