Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and acute rehab experience to join a Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Connecticut.

Responsibilities Position is based in a 456-bed acute care hospital that is a Level II Trauma center

Primarily assigned to the acute rehab unit with an average daily census of 11

Work schedule is 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM with rotating weekend and holiday coverage

Cerner EMR system is used; prior Cerner experience preferred

Deliver patient-centered speech, language, and swallowing therapy services within the acute rehab unit

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient progress

Rotating coverage on weekends and holidays may be required

Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a reduced pay rate

Requirements Current CT Speech and Language Pathologist license required if applicable

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA required

Minimum of 1 year of acute rehab experience required

Two professional references from managers in the past year in the current discipline / specialty required

If any certification or license is expiring, documentation of renewal must be provided
