This position may be eligible for a Sign on Bonus

Every 3rd weekend / holiday rotation

About our Programs :

The Avera Adolescent Addiction Care Program is designed to be an age-appropriate residential treatment facility. Residents receive a tailor-made recovery program based on their personal needs with a focus on healthy coping skills.

The Avera Behavioral Health Adolescent & Child Units are designed to be a structured and age-appropriate therapeutic environment for adolescents and children to learn to understand problems, use healthy coping skills and set and complete goals.

• Has a passion for working with adolescents on their addiction recovery path.

• Enjoys the ability to work in multiple patient care settings (Addiction Care with cross training to the Child / Adolescent Program)

• Has a passion helping patients with conditions such as Addiction, Anxiety Disorders, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and Depression or Suicidal behavior.

• Possesses motivation to help create and delivery high-quality patient care in an energizing team environment.

Delivers Nursing Care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends to understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re-evaluating care objectives.
