Top Secret / SCI Intelligence Position
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the AFOSI ICON Center, Law Enforcement Division.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
Serve as the AFOSI ICON Center Senior Intelligence Officer for Law Enforcement responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing LE analysis and intelligence production management of intelligence threats impacting sensitive USAF / DoD programs, units, operations, and plans in accordance with established law, policies and directives.
Represents AFOSI with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with DAF, DoD, Intelligence Community and LE intelligence counterparts.
U.S. Citizenship Required
All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing / signing a CONUS agreement.

Overtime may be required as workload demands and in some cases with no-notice due to urgency of time-sensitive matters. Periodic shift work may be required if assigned as a watch-standing analyst
Travel by regularly scheduled commercial or military conveyance in accordance with Joint Travel regulations may be required in performance of temporary duty
Employee must maintain current certifications
The work requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position
Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement
Professional Staff (Pro-Staff) Suitability Investigations (PSI) : The incumbent must undergo an internal background investigation by AFOSI and must be approved for duty by the Commander of AFOSI or the Commander's designated representative(s).
This is a GG-15 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-15 duties for the "Supervision / Management" work category are at the "Expert" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-15 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS / GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

Expert knowledge of US IC and LE policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases and requirements to perform intelligence research, planning, operations, collections, target analysis and other intelligence collections and analysis related activities.
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and procedures, and skill in evaluating program operations to provide leadership in CI, LE and foreign disclosure programs.
Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to CI and LE collections, analysis, and foreign disclosure activities, writing clear and concise products, and delivering written and / or verbal presentations to senior-level audiences for decision making purposes; and ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with all levels of officials in all types of situations.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors.
Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
Special Sensitive : Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing : This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GG-14 Federal grade level performing such duties as providing first-line supervision to a multi-agency staff engaged in the collection, analysis, evaluation, production and dissemination of operational and strategic intelligence is highly desired.
