Position Overview :

We are seeking an accomplished and driven Medical Malpractice Litigation Attorney with significant experience handling complex malpractice claims. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of representing plaintiffs in cases involving physician negligence, surgical errors, hospital liability, birth injuries, and wrongful death. This role requires exceptional litigation skills, medical case acumen, and the ability to lead high-stakes medical malpractice matters from intake through trial.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage a full docket of plaintiff-side medical malpractice cases involving hospitals, physicians, nurses, and healthcare systems.
  • Conduct detailed case evaluations, including medical record reviews and consultations with expert witnesses.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of depositions, including treating physicians, defendants, and experts.
  • Draft and argue motions, prepare trial briefs, and represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Oversee all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, mediation, settlement, and trial.
  • Interview witnesses, consult with medical and legal experts, and develop strategic litigation plans.
  • Prepare and present cases at trial, including jury selection, evidence presentation, and post-trial motions.

  • Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience in medical malpractice litigation, including direct handling of complex and high-value cases.
  • Demonstrated success managing plaintiff malpractice cases from intake through resolution or trial.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare protocols, and standard of care issues.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience working with and cross-examining expert medical witnesses.
  • Proven leadership, strategic litigation planning, and independent case management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-centered approach.
