Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Title Paralegal to join the team. The ideal candidate will have some five plus year's experience in commerical real estate with title insurance experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role requires a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive client information.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist attorneys with the drafting and reviewing of real estate documents such as title commitment and title policies, closing statements, deeds and mortgages.
Coordinate and manage the collection of client information and documentation necessary.
Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are current and properly filed.
Communicate with clients and other parties to gather information and provide updates on case status.
Support attorneys during client meetings, including scheduling, preparing documents, and following up on action items.
Monitor and track deadlines.
Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
Qualifications :
Paralegal certification or equivalent education / experience a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in real estate and title insurance.
Proficient in legal document preparation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
