Traveling Hospitality Project Superintendent

A highly respected Commercial Construction Company is prepared to add an experienced Traveling HospitalityProject Superintendent to their organization. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual looking for a stable contractor with room to grow. This contractor is experiencing steady growth and is one of the premiere contractors in the region.

The Project Superintendent is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the renovation project on-site and for ensuring safety compliance and quality standards. This position works with DYA staff, monitors the renovation process and ensures the project is completed on time and according to specifications. The Senior Project Superintendent supervises the Project Superintendent onsite.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • 5+ years’ experience with guest room renovations and an in-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
  • High School degree is required
  • OSHA 30
  • Experience with Procore a plus
  • Must be willing to travel extensively and work and live onsite through completion of project
  • Must have experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Safety Oriented Mindset
  • This position involves work at a construction site where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors
