Overview : We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Tank Winding Production Lead to join our Water Treatment team in Windsor.
In this key role, you'll lead daily operations in tank production and winding, ensuring production goals are met and quality standards are maintained. This position serves as both a technical expert and a support to the Shift Supervisor in driving shift performance.
Shifts : 1st : 6am-2 : 30pm
2nd : 2pm-10 : 30pm
3rd : 10pm-6 : 30am
What You'll Be Doing
This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch role — you’ll be in the thick of production, helping lead the charge.
Responsibilities :
- Leading tank winding operations to meet daily production schedules Loading fiberglass rolls, mixing resins and pigments, and managing acetone supply Assembling tanks using pre-built components
- Operating, adjusting, and maintaining winding equipment Setting up and tearing down production machinery as needed Inspecting tanks during and after production for quality and function
- Labeling, boxing, and packaging finished products
- Entering daily production data and compiling weekly scrap reports
- Performing mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Supporting cross-functional communication between shifts and departments
- Backing up supervisory tasks when required Keeping the workspace clean, safe, and compliant with company policies
- Participating in continuous improvement efforts

Prior experience in manufacturing and mechanical assemblyStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently and manage prioritiesAttention to detail with good organizational and communication skillsComfortable working with fiberglass, chemicals, and wearing appropriate PPEPhysically capable of lifting up to 45 lbs and handling 55-gallon drums (with assistance)Competent in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Experience with industrial machinery and hand tools (e.g., jigsaw, saber saw)Licensed forklift operator Familiarity with hazardous waste practicesReliable attendance recordPreferred :
Previous experience in a team lead or supervisory roleKnowledge of ISO standards and quality control proceduresAbility to operate PC-based industrial equipmentBackground in process improvement or Lean manufacturing
