job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssignment is located in an acute care setting with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Covers Speech Rehab unit, treating patients with dysphagia, cognitive impairment, and aphasia Typical caseload is 8-10 patients per day Work schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 8-hour day shifts Potential for one weekend day per month Cerner is used for electronic medical records and charting Must complete pre-assignment modules prior to start; modules take 3-4 hours and are not compensated time Department-specific orientation is provided Burgundy polo and black scrub bottoms are required attire Holiday coverage includes working 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year); holiday time-off requests may be considered but are not guaranteed Active and unrestricted state license required; license required if applicable Current CCC-SLP and BLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience managing patients with dysphagia Experience in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings required 2 professional references are required : one supervisor from the last 12 months and another from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years Copy of driver’s license required for consideration High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
