The Technical Financial Analyst II is responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements. The Financial Analyst II will prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to facilitate the review and analysis of financial data, as well as preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual internal, government and private regulatory reports. Job duties also include designing and developing tools for the automation of accounting, tracking, and reporting systems.

Responsibilities :

• Designs, builds, and develops accounting reporting and automation systems. Develops an enterprise data repository to support planning, management, and decision-making activities. Trains and assists accounting staff in the use of various computer financial information systems.
• Participates in internal and external audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Performs special, ad-hoc financial and costs analysis, as well as preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances. Prepares detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts. Records data and statistical information. Assists with reconciliations.
• Prepares a variety of reports and required filings. Verifies the accuracy of reports through review and analysis. Prepares reports for leadership and board presentations.
• Prepares, designs, and develops analysis and detailed reporting on financial measures, trends, and strategic business initiatives.
• Provides financial analysis support to various areas of the company. Communicates effectively with both internal and external customers, following up on questions and discrepancies.

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and / or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
