Job Description :

This role will work directly with the Environmental Practice Lead, Regional Managers, and Project Managers in the Environmental practice to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various environmental projects, tasks or initiatives. This position involves working closely with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, financial analysis, and sustainability practices.

Duties :

• Budget Management : Develop, monitor, and update project budgets. Analyze costs and expenses to identify efficiency improvements and ensure financial targets are met.
• Project Planning and Scheduling : Assist in developing project plans and schedules. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Performance Tracking : Establish metrics for monitoring project performance. Regularly analyze project data to provide insights and forecasts on project outcomes.
• Reporting : Prepare detailed reports on project status, financial performance, and risks. Present findings to project stakeholders and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Risk Management : Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Work with the project team to address and resolve issues promptly.
• Stakeholder Communication : Maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners when applicable.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure projects adhere to applicable environmental regulations and standards. Maintain documentation of compliance activities.
• Support Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the development of processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.

This position will require general supervision and will have to use independent judgment within established guidelines. Generally uses the advanced knowledge to analyze, interpret, or make deductions from varying facts or circumstances. Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project, and be able to promote a positive team environment. Working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
