Must-Have :

• Epic charting experience
• Experience in managing a patient ratio of 6

Description :

Labor and Delivery nursing position available.

The shift will consist of three 12-hour nights.

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in Labor and Delivery.

Travel experience is not required.

Charting system experience with Epic is mandatory.

Certifications required include AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.

The unit handles 100-200 facility births per month.

The patient age group includes infants.

The average daily census is approximately 12.

There are 12 rooms and beds in the unit.

Required skills include assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, starting and maintaining peripheral IVs, and performing sterile vaginal exams.

Candidates should also be knowledgeable in triaging obstetrical patients and using external fetal heart monitoring.

Compliance with a distance requirement is necessary.

No more than three days off will be pre-approved.

Please ensure compatibility with additional unit requirements and patient care protocols.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork and effective communication within an interdisciplinary environment.
