About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : State RN Licensure required

Certifications : BLS

ACLS

PALS (within 180 days of hire)

TNCC (within 180 days of hire)

NIHSS (within 90 days of hire)

Must-Have :

Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and ventilator management.

Ability to assist with chest tube insertion and management of BiPAP / CPAP.

Experience with blood product administration and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure.

Familiarity with interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.

Description :

Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care.

Provides patient and family education and manages transitions of care in an acute patient setting.

Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.

Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family / support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.

Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.

Participates in team discussions and collaborates with interdisciplinary support teams.

Ensures compliance with protocols, procedures, and nursing care guidelines.

Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job includes mandatory requirements for continued education and certification within specified timeframes.

Patient care will be provided in a collaborative environment with a focus on best patient outcomes.
