Job Title : Workers Compensation Coordinator

Location : Irvine, CA

Salary : $52,000 per year

Type : Full-time, Permanent

We are a well-established company in Irvine, CA, looking for a Workers Compensation Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Job Overview :

As the Workers Compensation Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for Workers’ Compensation claims from several staffing agency branches. You'll report to the Workers Compensation Claims Manager and work in the office Monday through Friday. After completing training, there may be an option to work remotely up to two days per week.

Main Responsibilities :

Manage the entire claims process, from intake to closure

Review and investigate claims, and assist in evaluating current offerings

Act as a liaison between corporate and field offices to gather claim information

Help with job site investigations and obtain supervisor / witness statements

Communicate with Insurance Claims Reps and injured workers regarding appointments, treatment, and claim updates

Work with internal teams to arrange return-to-work or modified duty for injured employees

Collaborate with medical providers on work statuses and restrictions

Maintain and update reports on claims progress

Assist with various Risk Management and Safety activities

Requirements :

2+ years of experience in Workers Compensation or claims handling

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must

High school diploma (College degree is a plus)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations

Excellent customer service skills

Experience with WCCMS or other claims management systems
