Position Summary :

The Medical Assistant supports clinic operations by managing patient flow and assisting providers with care across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. Responsibilities include rooming patients, administering medications and immunizations, and collecting lab specimens. Depending on the clinic's specialty, tasks may also involve phone support, prescription refills, x-ray procedures (if certified), phlebotomy, and lab testing. The role requires collaboration with nurses, providers, and clinic leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality care

Key Responsibilities :

• Rooming patients and managing clinic flow
• Administering immunizations, injections, and medications
• Collecting lab specimens
• Supporting phone communication and prescription refills
• Performing x-ray duties (if certified), phlebotomy, and lab tests
• Front desk and check-in assistance
• Ordering and stocking supplies
• Handling prior authorizations
