Job Title : Medical Data Specialist
Job Purpose
The Medical Data Specialist ensures the quality, accuracy, and integrity of clinical data through the development of data collection tools, management plans, database specifications, edit checks, and data review. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Quality, Safety, Regulatory, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Review clinical data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency in line with investigational plans.
- Develop and maintain data management documentation in compliance with GCP and GDP standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Deliver accurate, timely clinical data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, test, and maintain clinical data management systems.
- Support audits and inspections by serving as a subject matter expert.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and study-specific training requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with 2–4 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1–2 years of experience.Solid understanding of business and technical concepts, industry practices, and data management standards.Experience applying GCP and GDP in a clinical setting.Strong judgment and problem-solving skills when interpreting policies and procedures.Preferred
Background in pharmaceuticals or medical devices.Programming knowledge or experience in data systems development.Why Join
