Essential Functions :

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting unit coordination activities to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. You will be a resource for staff and assist with scheduling, education, and performance initiatives. Your responsibilities will include :

Coordinating staff scheduling, educational activities, and performance evaluations.

Identifying and resolving issues affecting clinical services and patient flow.

Conducting quality assurance studies and implementing QA / QI initiatives.

Serving as a resource for staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards.

Monitoring departmental compliance with accreditation and legal requirements.

Providing direct patient care as needed, in line with scope and standards of practice.

Participating in performance improvement and continuing education.

Maintaining regular and reliable attendance.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licensure / Certifications : Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred; Handle with Care preferred.

Skills : Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in stressful environments. Proficiency in navigating multiple clinical software systems and effective English communication skills are essential.
