Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time and withstand any weather conditions. Knowledgeable in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Must be able to lift or move up to 30 pounds. Performs other duties as assigned. High School Diploma. 1-2 years of experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
Part-Time Monitor
LME, VA, is seeking a part-time monitor for rotating shifts to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers. Responsibilities include :
- Front desk and reception area including answering phone.
- Escort within facility.
- Alarm monitor for 24 / 7 surveillance.
- Operates a security control center by monitoring surveillance, access control, fire alarm, and HVAC systems.
- Monitors access points and equipment.
- Notifies appropriate personnel during events affecting the facility.
- Makes detailed reports of incidents, violations, suspicious circumstances, and unsatisfactory conditions.
- Keeps current on information affecting security operations by reading the standard operating procedures, reports, security policies, memorandums, and emails to stay informed.
