Job Title
We're looking for a hands-on Manual Machinist to join our automation team. In this role, you'll machine and fabricate precision components used in custom industrial equipment. You should have solid experience with mills, lathes, and grindersand a sharp eye for detail.
What You'll Do :
- Machine parts to precise tolerances using manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders
- Read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings with minimal supervision
- Work with a variety of materials, including carbon / stainless / tool steels and plastics
- Build and fit structural components like brackets, guarding, and frames
- Assemble and align mechanical elements for integration into equipment
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accuracy
- Assist with general shop tasks and occasional forklift / pallet jack use
