Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Certified Surgical Tech (OR Tech) Shift : 10-hour Days Call (40 hrs / week) Contract Length : 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours : 40 / week Unit Details : 7 ORs, 2 Endo suites Common cases : Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedics, GYN, General, OB, Peds, DaVinci Robotics Orientation : 1 week in the OR Floating : Pre / Post-Op and ER (for trauma cases) Scrubs : Provided Requirements : Minimum 3 years’ experience, including strong Neuro and Craniotomy background Must be proficient across all surgical service areas BLS required Driver’s license required at submission (for 50-mile radius rule) RTO : 7 days or less per 13-week contract, must be submitted upfront Scheduling & Call : Day shifts : 06 : 30–15 : 00, 5 days per week Weeknight call : 1 night / week Weekend call : Every 5th–6th weekend (Sat / Sun) Holiday call : Rotating Charting : EPIC Job ID 17175934 About Genie Healthcare Genie Healthcare is one of the fastest growing Nurse Travel Agencies in the USA.
