job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide comfort touch massage therapy services in alignment with physician orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) care plan, focusing on hospice and palliative care. Conduct initial evaluations to assess and identify patient needs. Complete and submit accurate documentation of the massage therapy services provided. Successful completion of a post-secondary course of study from an accredited / licensed school for Massage Therapy. At least one year of Massage Therapy experience. Preferred experience in hospice massage therapy. A reliable means of transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance. The opportunity to see patients in their home environment, gaining a true understanding of their needs. A collaborative and supportive interdisciplinary approach to care. As a Hospice Massage Therapist with Interim HealthCare, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the comfort and well-being of our patients during their most challenging times. Travel within our service area to provide one-on-one comfort touch massages in the familiar surroundings of patients' homes.
