New York Licensed Financial Controller

A company is looking for a Controller to oversee accounting operations across US and UK entities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the accuracy and timeliness of financial closes for US and UK entities, ensuring GAAP compliance

Create and maintain internal documentation for accounting policies, controls, and business processes

Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and provide financial insights for strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Experience managing multi-entity accounting and cross-border compliance (US + UK)

5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and high-growth startups / SaaS

Proven ability to take ownership and make independent judgment calls

Comfortable closing the books in a lean team environment
