About The Position

Certifications : CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) provided onsite

Must-Have : Experience in psychiatric nursing, ability to work block shifts

Description :

We are seeking experienced psychiatric nurses to join our acute behavioral health facility.

Our facility offers comprehensive care across five specialized units with a total of 72 beds.

The patient population includes both voluntary and involuntary individuals.

Patients range from children as young as 5 to geriatric adults.

The schedule consists of block shifts, including every other weekend.

Shift options include straight 36 hours or a 36 / 48 hour rotation.

The shift times are from 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 PM.

Nurses are expected to fill block shifts with no alterations permitted.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 12, consistent across day and night shifts.

Support staff includes nurses, Behavioral Health Associates, and House Supervisors, who are always onsite.

There may be floating expectations between units within the facility.

Physical restraints are the only type of restraints used.

The dress code requires solid-colored scrubs in designated colors.

Visitor policy is limited to specific evening hours.
