Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist / Physician to work locum shifts in Wilson North Carolina (NC). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Obstetrics and Gynecology role : Seeking hospital call coverage only for 1 weekend a month starting with the weekend of 5 / 23. This need is critical to ensure the unit remains open. Strong unit and provider support. 650 deliveries / year Skills required : low risk pregnancy high risk pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST / CST / FSE OB Ultrasounds Amniocentesis Routine deliveries, including vaginal, decision making for C-sections Complicated deliveries, including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Surgical Gyn Laser certification Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role : NC state license; active, unrestricted Board certified OBGYN NC State DEA BLS and ACLS Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption Benefits : Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
