POSITION SUMMARY :
Interface analysts are the primary support contact for the interfaces they are assigned to. Interface analysts coordinate the analysis, technical design, and all issue triage necessary to implement and support their assigned interfaces. They work closely with the interface project manager, application teams, and technical teams to ensure that interfaces meet the needs of your end users.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Managing the entire cycle of interface application development, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support
- Working closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine the business needs for interfaces, document the requirements, and configure the interfaces per the requirements. Working with this group to diagnose and resolve interface-related issues and participating in their projects as needed.
- Coordinating various interface-specific tasks and activities like testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live by engaging subject matter experts, vendors, and interface engine developers
- Working with interface engine developers to develop data-translation routines and methods to support Epic's and external systems' data and format needs
- Driving the interface projects, working with the interface project manager to ensure that results are achieved, and deadlines are met
- Providing proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and collaborating with experts to provide permanent resolutions to problems

Serving as the main point of contact for technical issues and general questions related to assigned applicationsWorking in collaboration with Epic to implement new projects (such as a new module)Managing upgrades of assigned applications with Epic by setting timelines, maintaining continuous communication, and addressing issuesAnalyzing and communicating the impact of issuesTriaging requests and determining the priority of issuesResolving end-user application issues using Epic documentation and ensuring business needs are metCollaborating across roles and teams to solve end-user problemsEscalating end-user problems to the appropriate level (such as team lead) when necessaryValidating solutions are complete and appropriately implementedBuilding relationships with end users and providing consistent support through day-to-day communicationCommunicating problem status and solutions to end usersCORE COMPETENCIES

Background in an integration engine, preferably CorepointExperience with HL7, FHIR, and / other integration formatsExperience with Data Conversions, translations, and mapping of dataStrong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to analyze data, problem-solve, and clearly communicate solutionsAbility to understand organizational requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solutionAbility to work in a complex multi-communication-channel environmentSkilled at tracking tasks, defining next steps, identifying owners, and holding people accountableAbility to coordinate activities involving multiple players, including vendors, subject matter experts, interface engine developers, and end users, to design, configure, and test interfacesTRAINING AND CERTIFICATION :
EPIC Bridges Certified (Highly Preferred)If not certified, the following will apply : Company will send Interface Analyst through an EPIC certification program; some is onsite at EPIC's headquarters in Wisconsin and some is online.
Must be able to travel. Interface Analyst gains in-depth knowledge of the software by attending training at EPIC and completing interface certification projects and tests.
