HDR is looking for a Senior Site Civil Design Lead to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this position, you will lead a site civil project team in the design of site development projects across various sectors including healthcare, education and science, commercial, technology & media, federal, industrial, water / wastewater, and power.

The primary responsibilities include :

• Leading project design and plan production for site development, including site layout, grading, erosion and sediment control, utilities, drainage, stormwater management, and civil engineering activities.
• Preparing specifications and contract documents.
• Leading land development permitting.
• Evaluating, selecting, and modifying standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Making independent decisions on design and engineering procedures.
• Delegating tasks to project team members.
• Signing and sealing design plans, calculations, and specifications as the Engineer of Record.
• Serving as Project Manager on small to medium projects as needed.
• Training and overseeing up to three design staff members.
• Performing other duties as required.
