Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Radiology Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Temp - Tech - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray (Days) Petoskey, MI Position Summary : Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision. Essential Functions and Responsibilities : Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met. Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray. Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results. Requirements 2 Years of Experience - Required Must have OR experience - Required Experience with X-ray - Required Travel - Required BLS must be AHA - must be willing to obtain prior to start Certification Requirements ARRT Certification Requirements BLS Additional License Requirements Please include a copy of ARRT certification in the submitting profile.
