Redwood Living is seeking a skilled NSPIRE Technician to join our dedicated team in the Facilities & Maintenance department. This unique position is essential in ensuring the upkeep and compliance of our single-story apartment homes across various properties. The NSPIRE Technician will be instrumental in maintaining our standards of quality, safety, and comfort, making a direct impact on the satisfaction of our residents and the success of our communities. Conduct NSPIRE (HUD's National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate) inspections to ensure compliance with national safety and health regulations. Prepare detailed reports of each inspection, noting any issues and the actions required to rectify them. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and follow up on repairs and upgrades. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, findings, and corrective actions. Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated with the latest regulations and inspection techniques. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve safety and functionality of properties. Assist in the development of preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity and quality of the properties. Strong knowledge of NSPIRE standards and HUD regulations. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. Excellent organizational and detailed reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and residents.
