About the Position
The Medical Equipment Installer is responsible for installing and maintaining accessibility equipment such as stairlifts, ramps, and wheelchairs. The Medical Equipment Installer will perform household access modifications such as door widenings and roll in showers.
Experience required in either residential construction or equipment installation in some or all of the following :
- Electronics
- Framing
- Drywall
- Concrete
- Deck Installation
- Stairlifts
- Wheelchair Lifts
- Wheelchair Ramps
- Ceiling Lifts

Valid state issued driver’s license in the state where the employee works, required.High school diploma required, trade school preferred.Experience required in either residential construction or equipment installation1 year of delivery / customer service or related experience, preferred.Must have Clean Driving Record and pass Background CheckPhysical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.Requires sitting, driving, walking, standing, talking, or listening.Requires ability to see small print on computer and or paperwork and electronic tablet.May require driving a company vehicle for a portion of the workday.Benefits That Go Beyond the Basics
