The Salon Team Manager is responsible for overseeing salon operations, managing staff schedules, supporting team culture, and handling administrative tasks. This part-time position is perfect for someone with strong people management, organizational, and customer service skills. No cosmetology license is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily salon operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming environment
  • Manage employee schedules, attendance, and shift coverage
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new team members
  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage professional growth
  • Handle basic administrative tasks including inventory tracking, payroll coordination, and reporting
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and supporting front desk operations
  • Partner with salon owner on goals, promotions, and business initiatives
  • Qualifications

  • Previous experience in management, retail, hospitality, or office administration preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate and support a diverse team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable using scheduling and POS software (training provided)
  • Flexible availability, including some evenings or weekends
