Job Description

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Andalusia, AL . This full-time opportunity offers a MondayFriday schedule with the possibility of occasional on-call coverage. The ideal nurse will bring prior home health experience , strong proficiency in OASIS assessments , and familiarity with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) documentation systems .

Client : Nationwide Home Health Agency
Location : Andalusia, AL, and surrounding areas
Hours : Full-Time, Scheduled 40 hours per week, 32 hours guaranteed
Productivity : 25 per week, between 30-35 visits per week
Mileage : .49c visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected
Compensation : Negotiated directly with client based on experience, and territory budget; hourly pay - not by visit; blended pay packages available for travelers; weekly pay

Job Duties :

Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients in their homes

Conduct thorough assessments using Oasis documentation

Develop and implement individualized care plans

Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met

Educate patients and their families on disease processes and self-care techniques

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Homecare Homebase

Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and protocols

Requirements :

Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license

Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification

At least 1 year of home health experience with geriatric patients

Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase

Reliable transportation

Completion of Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer
