We are an affiliate of MercyOne.\n\nCome practice in a family-oriented, patient focused organization where your skills and knowledge are appreciated and valued!\n\nAbout The Job : \n\nAccepts responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care through the use of the nursing process ensuring safety, quality, and continuity of care is maintained. Provides nursing care for medical and surgical patients as assigned, while maintaining professional nursing standards. Directs and guides patient teaching and ancillary personnel to include exercising independent judgment in directing the work of others. Position works closely with various therapies, such as RT, PT, ST, and OT to provide multidisciplinary care to patients. Works collaboratively with the MCRHC Provider team to ensure optimal care is delivered. Position also floats to Emergency Room and Outpatient Treatment Center with experience, as directed by Acute Care Nursing Director. This is the hottest posting west of the Mississippi!\n\nThe Position : 0.5 FTE 40 hours per pay period.\n\nPay : Starts at $30.54 for ADN and $31.54 for BSN, both increase with experience. $3.50 for shift differential\n\nShift : Sunday-Saturday, Weekend, and Holidays.\n\nPosition Qualifications : \n

• Education : \n
• Graduate of an accredited program in professional nursing.\n
• Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa.\n
• Experience : \n
• Previous experience in a health care setting is preferred.\n
• Special Skills & Aptitudes : \n
• Maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider.\n
• ER - ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required\n
• Med / Surg / OTC - ACLS and PALS required\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n
• Demonstrates knowledge and support for the principles of customer relations in daily activities with others.\n
• Demonstrates nursing competency to provide care within the assigned unit to the population described in the scope of care.\n
• Must have basic computer skills.\n
• Completion of a telemetry course within one year of hire.\n
