White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Director of Nursing, Emergency Services for our Emergency Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Director of Nursing, Emergency Services, you will :

• Collaborate with administrators, physicians, managers and other providers to facilitate planning, implementation, and evaluation of strategic plan and initiatives
• Model & encourage professional practice that includes nurse autonomy, authority, accountability and responsibility within the department
• Oversee development & implementation of care delivery model, establish clear expectations based on standards of care defined by their professional & regulatory organizations
• Execute successfully the established plans and the services through measurement, monitoring, analysis, reporting, and adjusting the direction, allocation and utilization of available resources
• Consistently apply and deploy the Mission in Motion principles (AIDET, purposeful rounding, huddles, bedside shift reports, 10 / 5 rule, etc.)
• Strategically establish linkages with other key departments which facilitate the goals of patient care delivery
• Conduct purposeful counseling / coaching sessions with direct reports for purposes of professional development (i.e., percent of performance appraisals done in a timely fashion, one-to-one standing meetings)
• Identify issues to the Chief Nursing Officer and takes an active role in leading the process improvement initiative to address opportunities for improvement

Pay Range : $120,078.40 - $180,003.20

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
