Responsibilities

• Processing personnel clearance requests for access to classified information, developing and administering personnel security procedures, and reporting crucial information to customers, such as adverse information, personnel status changes, foreign contacts, and foreign travel. The role also involves updating computer databases with critical security information, ensuring compliance with federal security regulations, and coordinating with government agencies for regulatory compliance rulings and interpretations. Protecting employees' personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and other relevant Government regulations is also a key responsibility. Performing Data Transfer Agent (DTA) tasks. The DTA is crucial in maintaining information security when transferring data between different security domains or information systems. Duties focus on ensuring the integrity, security, and authorization of these transfers.
• Access Control : Utilizing CCure to monitor and control access, and assist with the opening and closing of secure areas to ensure entry is restricted to authorized personnel only.
• Security Inspections : Perform inspections of security systems and other physical security measures to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with ICD 705 standards.
• Incident Response : Responding to security incidents and alarms, investigating security breaches, writing incident reports, and reporting findings to Security Management.
• Documentation : Maintaining accurate records of Fixed Facility Checklists, security incidents, access logs, and other relevant documentation as required by ICD 705.
• Training and Compliance : Participating in security training programs and staying updated on the latest security protocols and procedures in accordance with contractual and company requirements.
• Physical Security Assessments : Assisting in conducting physical security assessments and implementing corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Data Transfer Agent - Verify authorizations for mission critical requests.
• Inspect data to ensure it is appropriate for the destination system / domain.
• Execute secure transfer procedures.
• Assist in strict media control.
• Document required information in databases.
• Maintain configuration management of approved processes.
• Maintain required training for personnel involved in the Assured File Transfer (AFT) process.
• Work extended hours as needed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment.
• A valid driver's license is required, as this position may involve escorting individuals across business locations.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
