Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer with pediatric echo experience, ARDMS or ARRT (S) registry, and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a pediatric cardiovascular specialty department
  • Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Requires pediatric echo sonography experience
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures with an emphasis on high-quality imaging and pediatric patient care
  • Prepares exam rooms, explains procedures, and obtains informed consent
  • Reviews patient history to select appropriate imaging protocols
  • Documents and communicates patient information thoroughly and accurately
  • Assists in maintaining equipment reliability and cleanliness
  • Actively participates in quality, workflow, and patient satisfaction initiatives
  • Ideal for travelers open to assignments up to one year

  • Active ARDMS or ARRT (S) registry or eligibility required
  • RDCS or RCS certification required or obtained within 18 months
  • Active BLS certification through AHA required and must not expire prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric cardiovascular sonography required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Epic charting preferred
  • License required if applicable
