The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the appearance, maintenance and / or repairs at our residential properties. This position is responsible for maintaining those properties to the highest standards of appearance and cleanliness in the most cost-effective manner possible. As requested and needed, the Maintenance Worker also provides support to the facility team servicing our properties.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure all necessary repairs, service, cleaning, and adjustments are completed during routine inspections
- Perform required repair or service when work orders are initiated, and communicate work order status to the Director of Facilities
- Conduct routine inspections of property grounds and building interiors for damage, unsafe conditions, and general cleanliness
- Perform outside grounds maintenance duties such as snow removal, lawn care, and landscaping as required
- Perform maintenance including but not limited to, drywall repair, painting, minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. Responsibilities also may include, but not be limited to, vacuuming, mopping, shampooing carpet, and windows.
- Prepare facilities for licensing, health and fire inspections
