Penn Machine Company, a Marmon|Berkshire Hathaway Company, is a 100+ year old local company that is a leading manufacturer of products and services for the transit, railroad, mining, general industry, and oil & gas industries.

We are searching for a full-time Quality Technician with strong inspection background and nondestructive testing experience (mag particle and / or UT).

Primary responsibilities also include :

Perform and document various inspections, including incoming, in-process, final, and source inspections

Nondestructive testing (UT, Mag particle, FARO)

Internal and process audits

Customer documentation packets

Participation in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement projects

Requirements / Qualifications

3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment

Capable of reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings, including geometric tolerancing

Strong communication skills

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts using basic math, applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and capable of performing basic statistical analysis

Certifications in NDT testing, such as UT and / or mag particle, preferred

Must be available and able to travel on occasion

Willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and / or weekends, when required.
