Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Holdrege, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Certified Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel The Certified Surgical Technologist assists the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. The CST ensures that the operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure, monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies, and cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Compliance with rules and regulations of all applicable federal, state and local laws as well as PMHC policies is a condition of employment. REQUIRED EDUCATION 1. High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) 2. Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program. COMPETENCIES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED 1. Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). 2. Current BLS Certification.
