Junior Field Service Technician

Job Description

Costa Sanders is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial sanding and brushing machines for processing wood, metal, and other surfaces. We are headquartered in Archdale, North Carolina and are part of the Costa network of global sales and service centers.

Costa Sanders is looking for a dynamic, driven individual to become the newest member of its client support and service team. Our client support team covers all areas of after-sales support. We provide technical support, spare parts, personnel training, machinery rebuilds, and machinery upgrades. Our trained technical specialists provide technical advice and assistance to Costa customers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Our field service technicians assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and repairing of Costa sanding and brushing equipment on-site in our customer's facilities. We are looking for motivated applicants who possess a great attitude and the ability to learn new skills. Interested individuals should possess a broad or basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

The position offers the opportunity for frequent overnight travel throughout the United States. The majority of travel is during the week with occasional weekend travel.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

• Assist with new equipment installations including final set-up and assembly, leveling and calibration checks, primary system and safety testing, start-up, and customer training.
• Work to troubleshoot and repair existing machines on-site at customer's facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance evaluations and calibrations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work performance and effective and timely client communication.
