Job Summary :

As a Transport Aide at Allina Health, you will ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate movement of patients and medical equipment throughout the hospital. The role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations, reducing wait times, and enhancing patient satisfaction. Key Position Details :

• .6 FTE (48 hours per two-week pay period)
• 8-hour day and evening shifts
• Every third weekend rotation

Job Description :

Provides support in transferring and transporting patients, pharmaceuticals, lab specimens and blood products. Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, equipment and patient related items to their destinations enabling the health care team to perform their duties.

Principle Responsibilities

Safely transports, lifts and positions patients to and from cart, wheelchair, bed and chair using appropriate safe patient moving techniques and equipment.

Utilizes each transfer as an opportunity to communicate and teach protocols to other health care staff.

Pay Range

Pay Range : $18.73 to $24.70 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
