Responsibilities Include

The Real Property Tax Consultant can expect to :

• Execute real estate property tax administration for a portfolio of primarily CRE properties across Texas, as well as a small percentage of out-of-state clients
• Drive down taxable value through varying valuation and negotiation methods
• Prepare well-organized client information and supporting documentation requests. Maintain positive relationships with assessor and tax jurisdiction personnel.
• Prepare assessment appeal support docs and negotiate values with assessors.
• Prepare, attend, and present appeals to the local jurisdictions both informally and formally at the Board hearings.
• Prepare property tax estimates, tax savings reports, and other valuation or tax reports for clients as needed.
• Review and approve client tax bills for payment.
• Travel as required to attend appeal hearings, property inspections, and client meetings.
• Stay up to date on market trends as it relates to real estate and / or property tax.
