Labor & Delivery Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits / suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate / compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit : Labor / Preterm labor, Circulate, OB-GYN, Post-Op, Pre-Op, Scrub, Low Risk Antepartum, Low Risk LD.

Blood / Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Cooling / Warming Blanket, Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, Syringe Pumps

Wound Vac, Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.

Unit Details : 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms

Floating Requirements : Post-Partum, NICU based on skill set

Equipment Used on Unit : GYN Surgeries, Couplet Care, Low Risk Antepartum, Transition Nursery.

Types of Patients on Unit : Adolescents, Infants, Adults

Previous Employment Requirements : Perm Candidates Of Any Other Providence Facility ( Non Swedish ) Are Eligible For A Travel Contract If They Have Been Separated For At Least 3 Months.

Transportation : Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.

Housing : IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.

5 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
