The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is a next-generation sawmill operator focused on sustainable, low-cost manufacturing of dimensional wood products. TLM is designing a state-of-the-art, modular sawmill to produce high-grade dimensional products with high efficiency. The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is seeking a skilled and experienced  Millwright  to support maintenance and mechanical operations at our New Albany facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety across the site. The Millwright will work closely with the Mill Manager, Maintenance Lead and engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and uphold operational standards. This is a full-time, hourly position that plays a critical role in the reliability and success of TLM’s manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support and execute equipment repairs, which includes reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics involved in the manufacturing process.
• Undertake preventative maintenance program for equipment.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up and repair of equipment and machinery.
• Repair and assemble hydraulic equipment and cylinders.
• Verify and document repairs made.

Qualifications :

Work Environment :

This role involves working outdoors and requires physical activity, including lifting and operating heavy equipment in varying weather conditions. The Outbound Lead must also be comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.

Pay and Benefits :

Pay : The starting hourly wage for this position is $21.63, with potential for higher rate based on relevant experience and demonstrated skills.
