Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shifts, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department at a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 6 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Patient care in an emergency / acute care environment
  • May be required to float to units with similar or lower acuity at other locations within the health system
  • Provide direct and collaborative patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Role involves independent and team decision-making
  • Works under direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing

    • Requirements

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 3 years recent Emergency Department RN experience
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Must reside outside a 60 mile radius of the facility
