Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Blazer Jobs is looking for a Full-Time Special Education Teacher for an elementary school in Bloomingdale, Illinois . This position runs from now through May 22, 2026 .

Role Details :

Self-contained structured classroom with 5 students.

Supported by 2 teaching assistants .

Requires comfort and skill working with students with behavioral challenges.

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.

Requirements :

Active Illinois teaching license with LBS1 or relevant endorsement.

Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention strategies.

Prior experience in structured or self-contained classrooms is ideal.
