Logistics Specialist

Logistics Manager

Join our dynamic team where you will manage scheduled pickups, re-route hauls, resolve issues, and perform data analysis. You will work collaboratively with several vendors to ensure seamless logistics operations, handling hauls typically involving 18-wheelers with freight.

Responsibilities

• Meet every morning to review plans and recap prior day activities.
• Be assigned to vendors and use Excel to track vendor activity.
• Reach out to vendors to identify and resolve issues.
• Analyze data to solve shipment problems, such as determining why a shipment wasn't picked up.
• Work with approximately 50 different vendors.

This role is situated in a start-up area offering significant growth opportunities and potential conversion to a full-time position. The role involves working in an office environment with a direct impact on up to 1000 shipments per week. Expect to handle multiple tasks on multiple screens.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 / hr.
